Originally from Sri Lanka and India, this fruit was brought to Mexico at the end of the 17<sup>th<\/sup> century and became widely harvested until it reached great significance a few years later. Due to the warm weather, this is the best season to enjoy the sweet and acidic flavor of this delicious fruit. At this festival you\u2019ll enjoy a combination of flavors in dishes such as the fish ceviche with mango, cold mango soup, duck breast with mango sauce, and shrimp wrapped in coconut with mango sauce. For this purpose, they approached 40 chefs from Mexico City to share their inspiration, which they turned into unique dishes at each restaurant, paired with Bocanegra beer. Among the best dishes of this collective you\u2019ll find the Wagyu hamburger with Bonito flakes at Soul; the smoked marlin gordita at Lucas Local; crab dobladitas at Jacinta Comedor, and fish raw at Mia Domenica. The \u201cEnc\u00e1usticas\u201d exhibition is found within the splendid Indianilla Station Cultural Center, fitted into a cultural area of great scope. Within it you\u2019ll find landscapes and abstract geometric forms created by Pellicer. In the words of the painter: \u201cThe one thing all the works have in common is that they all show landscape elements.\u201d Likewise, he stated that some works are based on a geometric composition, a square, an arch, a rectangle, while others show what can be seen through a window as landscape. In this exhibit, guests can see a retrospection of his works from 2002 to the most recent.
